Medical Career In Kyrgyzstan For Indian Students: Should You Believe Or Not?

Do you want to study MBBS from abroad? If yes, then Jagvimal is the best consultant which provides top medical colleges in Kazakhstan for Indian studentswho really want to make their medical career in abroad university.

Like China, US and UK, Kazakhstan also becomes a most wanted destination for medical education. From the past five years, we got the countless medical application form from the Indian students who really wish to get enrolled in Kazakhstan medical college. Every year, strength of Indian students in medical universities in Kazakhstan is amplified. Mostly aspirants go to Kazakh National Medical University, South Kazakh State Medical University, and Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh – Turkish University. When I begin to find out the explanation why Indian students prefer the medical universities in Kazakhstan, I found some interesting facts like:-

Low Tuition Fee and Living Cost- If you evaluate medical studies in India is quite cost effective while you study MBBS in Kazakhstan. To continue medical education in India you have to pay Rs. 5 Lakhs to 8 Lakhs per year along with the important donation. This amount obviously is not affordable by every student. But if you pursue your medical education from Kazakhstan medical colleges then you need to pay 10 to 12 Lakh for your total education which means this amount is not only for one year. This amount is an overall fee of your medical education. In Kazakhstan medical course is 6 years course. You see the difference of amount in India or in Kazakhstan.

Besides this other facilities is also affordable in Kazakhstan, because Kazakhstan is not a rich country so that every Indian student or middle-class aspirants can also afford the living cost in Kazakhstan. Living cost is minimal so that Indian student can enjoy the elevated excellence standard of living in an affordable financial plan.

Direct Admission in MBBS: In Kazakhstan to get enrolled in medical colleges, students don’t need to appear in any entrance exams like in India. Which means MBBS admission in Kazakhstan is accepted directly. If students secure 50% marks in PCB in an intermediate class, they are accepted to do MBBS in Kazakhstan.

English Medium: For Indian students comfort medical education is also provided in English Medium that means an Indian student doesn’t need to learn the Russian language.

Friendly Environment for Indians: In Kazakhstan, students find a friendly environment, because Russia is one of the neighboring Associates of India. For that Russian people love to know about the Indian culture. Find this kind of environment student can easily settle in Kazakhstan.

Direct Flight Connectivity: Kazakhstan’s principal city Bishkek is directly connected by air to New Delhi. Students can easily reach Bishkek and catch the direct flight to New Delhi and reached New Delhi within 3 hours.

I think these facts are quite enough to attract any Indian students towards Kazakhstan medical universities. But everything is not fine in Kazakhstan. As I told you that Kazakhstan is not a rich country that means this country has developed the country. The capital city of Kazakhstan is developed. Bishkek is the awesome city, other than Bishkek city you found the rural area in Kazakhstan. If you ignore this fact about Kazakhstan then this country is a perfect option for the Medical Education.

Wikinews interviews candidate for Cleveland mayor Arthur Kostendt

Monday, June 14, 2021

Arthur Oliver Kostendt, a candidate running in the mayoral election of the US city of Cleveland, Ohio set to take place November 2, discussed his campaign and policies with Wikinews this spring.

According to Cleveland Scene, 29-year-old Kostendt is a member of the Cuyahoga County, Ohio Republican Party but has referred to his campaign as “casual”. According to his web site’s personal biography, he was a cadet for the Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC), scout platoon leader for the 2nd Squadron of the 107th Cavalry Regiment of the Ohio Army National Guard and logistics officer for the 1st Battalion of the 145th Armored Regiment. He served in Kuwait, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia and assisted coalition force detachments in Southeast Asia.

Kostendt is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and summa cum laude graduate of Cleveland State University. He writes he uses an apostrophe to abbreviate his middle name as “Arthur O’Kostendt” instead of the customary period after the O to emphasise his Irish heritage.

A poll published May 5 by Baldwin Wallace University, which does not feature Mr Kostendt, has Dennis Kucinich and Basheer Jones leading in the mayoral race by 17.8 and 13.3 points, respectively, with a margin of error of up to five per cent either way. 48% of those surveyed were undecided. Incumbent mayor Frank G. Jackson, who won the 2017 Cleveland mayoral election with 59% of the vote, is eligible for a fifth term but announced on May 6 he would retire.

  • Peter Andren, Australian MP dies aged 61

    ">
Peter Andren, Australian MP dies aged 61

    Sunday, November 4, 2007

Australian federal member of Calare, Peter Andren died on Saturday after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. He was aged 61.

Mr Andren who had held the seat since being elected in 1996 had previously announced his intention to run for the senate after his electorate was changed for the 2007 federal election. After Mr Andren was diagnosed with cancer in July, he announced that he would be retiring from politics at the election.

Mr Andren’s 1996 campaign platform was based upon retaining services in regional Australia, particularly banking, health and telecommunications. Over the next 11 years, Mr Andren’s primary vote grew and at the 2001 and 2004 elections was elected without preferences, achieving a majority primary vote.

In 2001, Mr Andren disagreed with his electorate on refugees. The electorate supported the government’s tough stance but Mr Andren could not support the government’s border protection measures. Following this, a vicious letter-box campaign rose up saying “you might like Peter Andren … but you won’t like what he’s got to say about keeping our borders safe”.

Fellow NSW independent member, Tony Windsor said Mr Andren’s stance on asylum seekers was just one sign of his compassion and strong belief in human rights.

Mr Windsor described Mr Andren as the “conscience” of parliament. “Peter Andren was a true representative of the people of the Calare electorate, a man of the highest integrity and the conscience of the Parliament,” he said.

“He was subjected to vitriol from time to time within the Parliament over issues, but if he believed in something he stuck to it. He didn’t compromise and I think that’s a lasting legacy that Peter will leave.”

Prime Minister John Howard said despite having a difference of opinion with Mr Andren on many issues, he had a lot of respect for him.

“I respected his skills as a local member,” he said.

“Mr Andren and I frequently disagreed on major issues and he made no bones about that and I made no bones about it either but that didn’t stop me respecting him and acknowledging the tremendous work he did for his electorate.”

Labor leader Kevin Rudd described Mr Andren as a true independent.

“Peter Andren will be a great loss to the Australian parliament,” he said.

“He was a man of principle, a man of commitment, a man who was an absolute independent.”

Leader of the Greens, Bob Brown said Mr Andren was an example of how a politician should be.

“He was an exemplar of representative politics for his electorate and the people of Calare kept returning him with a bigger and bigger majority,” he said.

“[If] anybody ever asks me how a politician should be, I am going to say, ‘Look at the record of Peter Andren'”

“He was a great Australian representative and he is a great loss to this country.”

During his political career, Mr Andren fought the sale of Telstra, introduced a bill to allow MPs to opt-out of their generous superannuation schemes, opposed the Iraq war and campaigned on environmental issues.

Mr Andren was born at Gulargambone, near Dubbo in Western NSW in 1946. Before he entered politics Mr Andren worked as a teacher before moving into journalism. Mr Andren worked as a news producer in Sydney for the Seven and Nine networks, before moving back to regional NSW where he worked as the news editor for both Radio 2GZ and Prime Television.

Mr Andren is survived by his partner and two sons.

Opponents: New Zealand government sneaks bill into House to avoid public backlash

The New Zealand Government has tabled the Therapeutic Products and Medicines Bill, despite unprecedented political opposition.

In 2003 the Hon Annette King signed a Treaty with Australia agreeing to hand control of the natural health products sector over to an Australian regulatory body, however she needs to pass enabling legislation in New Zealand. “This will be a world-class joint scheme designed to regulate the safety, quality, effectiveness and promotion of therapeutic products in both New Zealand and Australia. That includes the regulation of complementary and alternative medicines, over-the-counter and prescription medicines, medical devices, blood and blood products and tissues and cellular therapies,” Ms King said.

Twice the Bill has been thrown out by select committees, but the Government is determined to ram it through Parliament, according to the New Zealand Health Trust.

“Late tonight the Bill was finally tabled, with no announcement from the Minister,” said Amy Adams, spokesperson for the Trust, “Clearly the Minister is keen to sneak it into Parliament under cover of the silly season, in the hope that she can keep it under the public’s radar.”

“I welcome the support of a majority of the House who want to see the Bill go to Select Committee where New Zealanders can have their say,” Ms King said.

The NZ Health Trust conducted research earlier this year which showed 62% of New Zealanders used natural health products. “This Bill represents a massive and irreparable change to the way we make rules for New Zealand dietary supplements,” Mrs Adams said.

“Under the proposed regime, well over a million New Zealand consumers would find the choice of products adversely affected, and experience cost increases. So you can see why the Government is trying to sneak this into the House without any fuss – they don’t want the public to know.”

All the political parties except Labour have pledged their opposition the proposal, despite some intense lobbying by Australian and New Zealand officials.

“It is a very serious thing to hand sovereignty over your country over to another nation,” Mrs Adams said. “And all the other political parties see the sense in making sure the sector is regulated from New Zealand – not as a minor state of Australia.”

Ms King said: “The Bill… ensures that New Zealand will have an equal say in the setting up and running of the new Authority and joint scheme.” The new authority will be like a crown-owned entity and will have to provide an anuual report and a statement of intent to parliament each year.

    Discrete Event Simulation Explained

Posted in Forex Broker | May 1st, 2022

With discrete event simulation, the operation of the systemis typically presented chronologically, based on a specific time frame. Eachevent that occurs in the system is reflected by a change in the results. There isa variety of methods for creating this type of simulation, where the results canbe studied and used as the basis for strategic decisions.

    APPLICATIONS

There are a large number ofindustries and processes where discrete event simulation is successfully applied. Some of these industries includemanufacturing, business process re-engineering, heavy metals, mining, variousprocesses in airports, logistics, healthcare, and more. Simulation can be used to:test how well assembly lines perform; determine the efficiency of lineoperators; and determine the result of an unexpected equipment failure orresource shortage. For every actionthere is a reaction; simulation can help to determine the sequence of actionswhich is causing an undesired reaction.

Turning to an outside company can help your businessidentify problems in work flow, design, throughput and more. In the past these problems were examinedmanually, and through static analysis. Suchmethods resulted in many hours of work and left room for potential error. Companieslike Visual8 Simulation Solutions have a wealth of experience in developingDiscrete Event simulation models that can accurately represent your systems.Using state-of-the-art technology and employing experienced simulation modelbuilders will help you to minimize your margin of error through the use ofaccurate time-based analyses.

    USING SOFTWARE

There is a specific process involved in building a discreteevent simulation model and ensuring a high-quality, validated end-product.First, data should be collected so that accurate inputs can be used to drive thesoftware program. Then a representationof the process is built using a discrete-event package in order to create theentire system flow (e.g. flow of information, product, personnel, etc.). When the model has been validated againsthistorical information then the simulation can be used to run a variety of scenarios. Experiments are conducted to identify potentialimprovements, and to eventually determine the changes required in order to bestimprove the overall process / system.

To determine how much detail is required in developing asimulation, you must consider your overall objective. The level of detail included in your model canalter how the results are analyzed as well as the number of questions you canask and answer using the tool. You also need to consider how comparable thediscrete-event simulation is to real world scenarios when determining the typesof conclusions you make from the results.

Simulations should be run several times for statisticalsignificance, and so that the outcomes of each one can be compared for anycommon denominators. For companies without the skilled resources and time toperform their own discrete event simulations, a company like Visual8Corporation can prove to be a valuable asset.Working together with experienced simulation practitioners can result insignificant efficiency improvements, and cost savings.

New York executive files $60 million libel lawsuit over insurance scandal

A former Marsh & McLennan Cos. executive has hit former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer with a $60 million defamation lawsuit over an online magazine article regarding an insurance bid-rigging scandal.

William Gilman, a former Marsh managing director, filed a complaint last Friday in the U.S. District Court in Manhattan, over allegations Mr. Spitzer defamed him in a Slate article published a year ago. A copy of the complaint was made public on Monday.

Gilman, who had a final insurance fraud charge dismissed in January, said Spitzer acted with “actual malice” by suggesting that he was guilty of crimes of which he was never accused.

Although he wasn’t named in the article, Mr. Gilman complained that Spitzer defamed him by writing that “Marsh’s behavior was a blatant abuse of law and market power: price-fixing, bid-rigging and kickbacks all designed to harm their customers and the market while Marsh and its employees pocketed the increased fees and kickbacks.”

“While Mr. Spitzer’s statements do not refer to Mr. Gilman by name, Mr. Gilman is readily identifiable as the subject of the defamatory comments,” said the complaint. “Mr. Spitzer was well aware of his own allegations as attorney general and the resolution of those allegations in favor of Mr. Gilman and yet, recklessly disregarded these facts.”

In 2004 Mr. Spizter, then the state’s Attorney General, announced an investigation into the practices at Marsh & McLennan, particularly fees paid by insures to brokers who place business with them. Gilman, who worked for the company at the time, was charged in 2005 with 37 counts of insurance fraud. Gilman’s final charge was dropped last January.

“I haven’t seen the lawsuit and so will not comment on it,” said Spitzer. “The illegalities rampant at Marsh & McLennan leading to their fine of $850 million and the multiple judicial findings of illegality are clear from the public record.”

Mr. Gilman is now seeking at least $10 million in compensatory damages; $20 million in general damages, including damage to his reputation; and $30 million in punitive damages.

The name Robert Cailliau may not ring a bell to the general public, but his invention is the reason why you are reading this: Dr. Cailliau together with his colleague Sir Tim Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web, making the internet accessible so it could grow from an academic tool to a mass communication medium. Last January Dr. Cailliau retired from CERN, the European particle physics lab where the WWW emerged.

Wikinews offered the engineer a virtual beer from his native country Belgium, and conducted an e-mail interview with him (which started about three weeks ago) about the history and the future of the web and his life and work.

Wikinews: At the start of this interview, we would like to offer you a fresh pint on a terrace, but since this is an e-mail interview, we will limit ourselves to a virtual beer, which you can enjoy here.

Robert Cailliau: Yes, I myself once (at the 2nd international WWW Conference, Chicago) said that there is no such thing as a virtual beer: people will still want to sit together. Anyway, here we go.

    Belgian prime minister offers resignation

    Belgian prime minister offers resignation
    Posted in Uncategorized | April 29th, 2022

    Thursday, April 22, 2010

Belgian prime minister Yves Leterme has offered to resign amid a political dispute, the press office of the Belgian parliament reported on Thursday.

The Belgian king, King Albert II, has not yet accepted the prime minister’s offer. He and Leterme met on Thursday’s afternoon, the office said. The king said that the resulting political turbulence from the resignation “seriously threatens” the country’s standing in the European Union.

“[He] had no other choice than to inform us that he would go to the king immediately to tender the government’s resignation,” said Belgium’s health minister, Laurette Onkelinx.

The Belgian palace commented on the issue in a written statement. “The king and the prime minister jointly underlined that […] a political crisis would be inopportune and would seriously damage both the economic and social well-being of the citizens and the role of Belgium in Europe.”

Leterme also resigned as prime minister in late 2008 over a banking scandal. He returned to office last November when former PM Herman van Rompuy gave up the post to become the first, full-time head of the European Union.

This latest resignation is a fallout of Belgium’s long-term power struggle between the country’s French-speaking Walloons and Flemish-speaking majority.

The latest disagreement centers on special rights for Walloons living near Brussels; specifically, the location of electoral boundaries around the capital. A key coalition member, the Flemish liberal Open VLD Party, pulled out of the government, frustrated over the failure to resolve the dispute. Party chairman Alexander De Croo said that”[w]e have not agreed on a negotiated solution and therefore Open VLD no longer has confidence in the government.”

Without the VLD, the other four government parties have 76 of 150 lower house seats in the parliament, although governing with such a small majority would be hard, Al Jazeera says.

Australian health workers to close intensive care units in Victoria next week

    ">
Australian health workers to close intensive care units in Victoria next week
    Posted in Uncategorized | April 24th, 2022

    Thursday, March 13, 2008

Members of Australia’s Health Services Union (HSU) will go on strike in Victoria next week in a dispute over stalled wage and career structure negotiations. Over 5000 physiotherapists, speech pathologists and radiation therapists will walk off the job next week, effectively closing the state’s 68 largest health services.

The strike will force the closure of intensive care units and emergency departments across the state.

It is feared the strike could continue into Easter.

National secretary of the HSU, Kathy Jackson said admissions would be crippled, while intensive care patients would have to be evacuated to New South Wales, Tasmania and South Australia as hospitals will not be able to perform tests or administer treatment.

“When an ambulance shows up you can’t admit a patient without an X-ray being available, you can’t intubate them and you can’t operate on them,” she said.

“If something goes wrong in an ICU you need to be able to X-ray, use nuclear medicine or any diagnostic procedure,” said Ms Jackson.

Ms Jackson said the HSU offered arbitration last year, but the state government refused. “They’re not interested in settling disputes, they hope that we are just going to go away.”

“We’re not going away, we’ve gone back and balloted the whole public health workforce in Victoria, those ballots were successful, 97 percent approval rating,” she said.

The HSU is urging the government to commence serious negotiations to resolve the dispute before industrial action commenced.

The government has offered the union a 3.25 per cent pay increase, in line with other public sector workers but the union has demanded more, but stopped short of specifying a figure.

Victorian Premier John Brumby said the claim would be settled according to the government’s wages policy. “The Government is always willing and wanting to sit down and negotiate with the relevant organisations . . . we have a wages policy based around an increase of 3.25 per cent and, above that, productivity offset,” he told parliament.

The union claims it is also arguing against a lack of career structure, which has caused many professionals to leave the health service. Ms Jackson said wages and career structures in Victoria were behind other states.

Victorian Opposition Leader Ted Baillieu said he was not in support of the proposed strike and called on the government to meet with unions. “There could not be a more serious threat to our health system than has been announced today.”

“We now have to do whatever is possible to stop this strike from proceeding,” he said.

The opposition leader will meet with the union at 11:30 AM today.

Victorian Hospitals Industry Association industrial relations services manager Simon Chant said hospitals were looking at the possible impact and warned that patients may have to be evacuated interstate if the strike goes ahead.
